Presenter: Bernadette Smith of the Manchester/Pt. Arena Band of Pomo Indians, who works specifically with the tanoak acorn.

Tanoaks are a traditional food source of indigenous people in the United States. Learn how to harvest and prepare acorns for eating, traditions around them, and take them home with you. 

This event is presented by Sonoma State University’s Center for Environmental Inquiry (CEI) in collaboration with Anderson Valley Land Trust.
